The Problem: Most newborns eat 8 - 12 times a day or every 2 - 3 hours for the first few months of life. During these months, parents face the challenge of deciphering their infants needs while sleep deprived and emotionally exhausted.

The Opportunity: A self warming baby bottle utilizing Ember's Temperature Control technology could increase successful feedings and streamline an infant's eating schedule.

Why is warm milk important?

Infants can drink milk cooled or at room tempeture, however warm milk is most advised as it mimics the natural tempeture of a mother's body and decreases the risk of refusal during feedings which can be essential to body tempeture regulation in small and premature infants.

The Brand

"A woman's body temperature usually sits at around 98 degrees Fahrenheit. Milk straight from the breast has a similar temperature... However, if you give a baby formula made with cold tap water, it could be more than 40 degrees Fahrenheit colder than breast milk. Babies are often happier feeding on warmer liquids. A baby feeding on cold formula has to use valuable energy warming the liquid inside their body to reach their own body temperature."
